The YOGIC PRACTICE
An intimate path into the art, depth, and wisdom of yoga — toward awareness, balance, and the unfolding of the Self
“I consider and honour Yoga as an Art, a philosophy, a therapeutic system, and a spiritual discipline. Drawing inspiration from the Hatha, Tantra, and Kundalini traditions, held within the framework of Patañjali's eight limbs. Rooted in the understanding of the koshas—the five layers of being—the practice becomes a navigation through the physical, energetic, emotional, intellectual and spiritual dimensions of the Self. I explore balance, polarity and harmony, and the profound and mysterious wisdom of the chakra system, in service of Self-realisation: the lifelong journey of discovering and expressing one's truest self, fulfilling one's highest potential, and awakening to a deeper peace and lasting bliss.”

Yoga (योग) means union — the union of body, mind, and spirit.
It is one of the oldest living systems of human self-understanding, a philosophy, a science, and an Art that has been cultivated, refined, and transmitted across thousands of years of devoted practice and inquiry.
At its simplest, Yoga is the practice of coming home to yourself. At its deepest, it is a complete path toward liberation, toward the recognition of who you truly are beneath the noise of thought, habit, tension, and distraction. It is neither a religion nor a dogma. It does not ask you to believe in anything. It simply invites you to pay attention — to your body, your energy, your mind — and through that attention, to begin to understand yourself more fully.
The Yoga Sutras of Patañjali, written between 500 BCE and 450 CE, is considered the foundational philosophical text of classical Yoga, containing the classical framework of Patañjali's eight limbs (the Ashtanga Yoga). The eight limbs offer a complete and integrated map of practice.
Central to the practice is the understanding of the Pañcakośas (पञ्चकोशाः) — the five layers, or sheaths, of being. According to this ancient model, we are not simply a body. We are a nested system of dimensions, each one subtler and deeper than the last:
Annamaya Kosha — the physical body, the body of matter, nourished by food and movement
Prāṇamaya Kosha — the energetic body, the body of breath and life force, the subtle current that animates us
Manomaya Kosha — the lower mind, the emotional and mental body, the realm of sensation, feeling, and the movement of the mind
Vijñānamaya Kosha — the higher mind, the intellectual body, the faculty of discernment, clarity, wisdom, and self-knowing
Ānandamaya Kosha — the bliss body, the deepest layer, the dimension of pure being, stillness, and spiritual fulfilment
To understand this system is to understand how to live in true harmony, not by suppressing or escaping any layer of yourself, but by tending to each one with awareness, care, and devotion. When these layers are in balance, the whole human being comes alive in a different way. That is the invitation of Yoga.

I consider and honour Yoga as an Art, a philosophy, a therapeutic system, and a spiritual practice (not a performance, not a fitness routine, not a trend, not a dogma…). An embodied philosophy, a living, breathing path of inquiry and refinement that I have been walking myself, and that I now feel called to share.
Drawing inspiration from the Hatha, Tantra, and Kundalini traditions, held within the framework of Patañjali's eight limbs, my approach moves through the body as a doorway into something much larger. The practice becomes a navigation through the physical, energetic, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions of the Self.
I explore balance and polarity to find and maintain harmony: the felt sense of all parts of your-self moving together in the same direction and with coherence. And I explore the profound and mysterious wisdom of the chakra system; not as mysticism for its own sake, but as a practical and remarkably accurate map of how energy, emotion, and consciousness are organised within us.
None of this is as intimidating as it may sound. In practice, it is always grounded, joyful, and accessible, meeting you exactly where you are.
What makes this offering different from a group class or a generic yoga programme is that it is entirely built around you. Your body, your history, your energy, your questions, your path. Each session is a genuine encounter, not a sequence delivered at you, but a practice developed with you and for you.
And beyond the sessions themselves, my deeper intention is to offer you tools that become truly yours — techniques, practices, and awareness that you can carry into your daily life and cultivate independently.
The goal is that through our work together, you develop a steady, autonomous personal practice — your sādhana — a practice that belongs to you and nourishes you from within.Together, we move at your pace. We explore whatever aspect of the practice calls to you, with a programme tailored specifically to your needs, your current state, your constitution, and your unfolding.
There is space, structure, and freedom in equal measure: structure to provide direction and progression, space to integrate, reflect, and truly absorb what arises, and freedom to follow what is alive in you. -
Usually structured in two-week cycles — though the rhythm always adapts to yours.
A first call (30 – 45 minutes ) the day before or two days before
An initial conversation to understand where you are, what is present, what is needed. It is from this exchange that I build your first, or next, set of practices.
A second call 48 hours later (1 hour – 1h30) a working session
This is where we meet in practice. I present and teach you the new set of exercises, that we explore, refine, and adjust together.
An audio recording — and where possible video, for your daily autonomous practice
For each set of exercises, I create a recording you can follow on your own throughout your daily practice.
Written documentation with elaborated text and images
Each set is accompanied by a detailed document explaining every exercise (with descriptions, cues, benefits, contraindication and images) so the practice lives in your hands, not only in memory.
A personalised musical adaptation with adapted frequencies, atmospheres, playlists (when necessary only)
I select or compose the sounds that will accompany your practice (frequencies, textures, and atmospheres chosen according to your needs).
Availability, 7 days a week on WhatsApp & email
I remain available throughout, for questions, doubts, support, and sharings, providing continuous presence between sessions, not only within them.
Option of shared practice(s) online or in person
Honoring the unique dynamic that arises when two people practice side by side.

Yoga traditions have long understood vitality and Self-realisation as something that can be actively cultivated or gradually depleted, through the choices we make, the habits we carry, the quality of attention we bring to our lives. The practice is, in this sense, a form of ongoing self-care at the deepest level: not just maintaining the body, but tending to the whole of who you are.
Over time, with consistency and devotion, a regular practice creates the conditions for genuine and lasting transformation. You may find yourself:
Beginning each day with a quality of lightness, groundedness, and inner clarity that carries through everything you do
More at home in your body: stronger, more flexible, more vitally alive and at ease in your own skin
Cleansed of the stress, tension, and energetic heaviness that accumulates through daily life
Sharper in focus and calmer in thought, a kind of inner spaciousness, a clear blue sky where there was once noise and fog
More balanced in your senses, your emotions, and the movement of your thoughts; less reactive, more present
Freed from patterns of stress, negativity, and disconnection, and genuinely reconnected with the present moment
More creative, more sensitive, more grateful
Expanding in inner awareness and in your felt sense of connection: to yourself, to others, to life
Gradually building an autonomous practice — a sādhana — that continues to nourish and guide you long after our sessions together
-
Because I believe in the value of a continuous and evolving practice, and I am committed to following your journey with genuine attention and care, a personalised rhythm and investment will be discussed and determined together, tailored to your needs, your pace, your budget, and your commitment to the practice.
As a reference, sessions are generally offered at 750 DKK per hour.

Yoga is not a one-time experience. It is a path. And like all paths, it reveals itself most fully when walked with some regularity and commitment.
I warmly and genuinely recommend that we meet consistently, at least for a dedicated period of time, according to a rhythm that suits your life. Because continuity is where the real work begins. It is in the space between sessions that integration happens. And it is in returning, session after session, that a genuine practice is built.
Together we would develop a programme tailored specifically to you, one that has direction and structure, that tracks your progression and responds to your evolving needs, and that offers genuine space for questions, for reflection and integration.

Conscious Power Dynamics and Avoiding Exploitation
1.a- It is my responsibility to maintain a conscious and professional relationship with my students at all times. I understand that the teacher-student relationship contains a power imbalance that must be treated with care.
1.b - I recognise the implicit trust placed in me by my students, and I consciously will avoid using the teacher-student relationship in an exploitive way for any personal gain or benefit.
Respect and Boundaries, Consent and Confidentiality
2.a - I recognise and communicate the importance of mutual consent & healthy boundary setting in all my interactions with students, especially when it comes to touch. At no time will I force or manipulate a student to participate in activities, events, or exercises against his or her free will. I respect and honour human, civil, and sexual rights.
2.b - I treat all communication with my students with respect and confidentiality. I show sensitivity regarding the moral, social, and religious standards of my students, and I will not advise a student to act against the advice of his or her healthcare provider.
2.c - I will not engage in any abusive words or actions, in discrimination, harassment, or coercion of students or former students.
No Sexual Involvement with Students
3.a - I understand that all forms of sexual involvement with my students contain an enormous challenge for the sanity of our teacher-student relationship as well as for the purity of the Yoga teachings. I may even negatively influence the evolution and self-experience of my students without being aware of it.
3.b- I consciously avoid any overt and covert seductive speech, gestures, and actions towards my students at any time, and I refrain from inviting any form of sexual engagement with students. This also includes answering to possible invitations coming from a student. I will never abuse my teacher-student-relationship to seek fulfilling own personal erotic needs through my students.
3.c - Should I still choose to explore sexual intimacy with a student, I will stop teaching that person until a clear consent from both parties is provided. I make sure that this choice is done with upmost sensitivity, mutual consent and awareness to separate the teacher-student dynamic from our private intimate life.
Empowering Students
4.a- I understand that I am the vehicle for the teachings but never their source. I avoid imposing my personal beliefs on my students, and I strive to strengthen my student's independent connection to the teachings and to his/her own Self, rather than to my personality.
Integrity in Teaching
5.a - I understand that I can only transmit to others what I practice and embody myself. As a Yoga teacher, I am responsible to uphold the quality, integrity and sacredness of the teachings I have received.
5.b - Besides necessary variations and adaptations to accommodate the level or limitations of my students I will not change the techniques, ritual elements, and other content taught to me.
5.c - I accurately and truthfully represent my skills and professional qualifications to others. Especially when advertising my services, I refrain from exaggerating or misinterpreting the benefits of Yoga or of my own level of practice and attainment.
Ongoing Self-Practice and Integrity in Teaching

6.b - I understand that I actively teach by being a living example of Yoga within my community and peers, and that teaching Yoga doesn't stop at the end of a class or when stepping from my Yoga mat. At all times I strive to represent the integrity of the teachings in my behaviour.
6.c - As long as I teach this form of Yoga, I commit to apply the basic rules of the Yamas and Niyamas to the best of my knowledge and abilities. I agree to refrain from a frequent or regular use of mind-altering or intoxicating substances such as tobacco, alcohol or recreational drugs. Further, honoring the Yogic traditions, I aim to eat a predominantly vegetarian based diet.
Respect for Tradition and Other Teachers
7.a - I wish to respect and support the diversity of Yoga teachings for the benefit of all. I speak and act respectfully towards this school and the teachers from it along with teachers from other Yoga traditions. I consciously avoid gossip and negative or abusive communication or action, and I will not knowingly solicit others teacher's students.
7.b - As long as I strive to teach Yoga as taught to me, I commit to apply these professional and ethical standards to my best knowledge and with my purest intentions. If severe difficulties arise in regards with this commitment, I will seek advice and support.

Every session is shaped around your needs, your energy on that particular day, and where we are in the arc of your practice together. And yet, each session moves with a natural and intentional flow, always from the outermost layers of being inward, from the body toward stillness:
Warm-ups — We begin by arriving. By waking the body gently, releasing whatever has accumulated (tension, distraction, the weight of the day…). Warm-ups are the first act of attention, the moment you begin to turn inward and feel where you actually are.
Āsanas — The postures. The work with the body through alignment, strength, flexibility, and awareness. Āsanas are conversations with the body, invitations to explore its intelligence and its limits, to develop presence in the physical form. We move with intention, with breath, with curiosity…
Prāṇāyāma — Breath and energy work. Prāṇā is the life force, the subtle energy that animates every living being. Through prāṇāyāma, we learn to work consciously with the breath as a tool for cleansing, recharging, calming, and expanding. This is where the practice begins to move beyond the purely physical and into something more subtle.
Dhāraṇā — Concentration. The practice of gathering the scattered attention and directing it with purpose, toward a single point, a sensation, a sound, a visualisation, a concept. Dhāraṇā trains the mind to become steady, clear, and focused. It is the bridge between the movement of the body and the stillness of meditation.
Dhyāna — Meditation. It is the natural deepening of attention into presence. When concentration matures, meditation arises, a state of effortless awareness, of quiet observation, of inner clarity. This is where much of the real integration and transformation happens.
Guided relaxation — We close in stillness. A conscious, guided return allowing the body to absorb the practice, the nervous system to settle, and the whole being to integrate what has been explored. This is not simply rest; it is an essential part of the practice, the moment the seeds planted during the session take root.
